The most important difference: system architecture
Before we talk about prices—understand the fundamental difference:
- Inventory, ordering, customer, and document management integrated into the store (multi-warehouse, invoices/delivery notes)
- For a complete inventory management system: Integration of an external system via xoPort (Professional plan and above)
- No need to synchronize systems if no external inventory management system is used
- One system, fixed package prices —no revenue share
- JTL-Wawi is the central inventory management system
- JTL-Shop is the separate storefront
- Both are directly connected via synchronization; JTL uses connectors for stores from other providers
- Total cost = Edition (inventory management + online store) + optional hosting + additional modules and service packages as needed

The fundamental difference in product philosophy:
- Integrated into the store: inventory (including multiple warehouses/branches), orders with status history, customers and customer groups, invoices, delivery notes, and cancellation documents
- Inventory Management: For comprehensive inventory management, connect an external system via xoPort (available starting with the Professional plan)
- Optional ERP integration: JTL-Wawi, Tricoma, SelectLine, and others via the xoPort data interface (included in Premium and Enterprise, available as an add-on starting with the Professional plan); accounting interface to DATEV and Lexware included in every package
- One System: Inventory, orders, and documents without the need to reconcile between the online store and the back office; xoPort synchronizes the data with the external inventory management system
- Personal phone support (Professional and above): Landline number in Chemnitz; speak directly with the development team
- Full service: development, hosting, and support all from a single source
