Your Support
Two options—you don’t choose; your inventory management system decides.
In Austria, we partner with RIHNet GmbH for SelectLine projects. We manage all other projects directly from Chemnitz. In both cases, you’ll receive the same e-commerce platform and a dedicated contact person—only the point of responsibility differs.
You’re using SelectLine
In that case, RIHNet GmbH in Vienna is your point of contact. They have hands-on experience with SelectLine and will integrate your inventory management system with the online store—whether SelectLine is already up and running or being implemented alongside the store.
- Integration of existing SelectLine systems
- New implementation, including consulting
- Synchronizing products, prices, inventory, and orders
You’re not using SelectLine
Then we’ll support you directly. You’ll work with the developers who build the XONIC Shop System—with no middlemen. XONIC offers its own interfaces for other inventory management systems, and if none fit your needs, we’ll program one for you.
- Consulting, implementation, and support from the manufacturer
- Integration with other inventory management systems
- Custom programming when the process requires it
Our partner in Vienna
RIHNet GmbH – SelectLine in practice.
Merchandise management and online stores rarely fail because of the technology, but rather because of the processes in between. That’s exactly where RIHNet comes in.

SelectLine Integration and Inventory Management Consulting
RIHNet supports Austrian companies with SelectLine—from implementation through ongoing operations. Combined with XONIC, this creates a seamless workflow: The online store pulls product information and inventory levels from the inventory management system, orders flow back, and no one has to enter data twice.
- SelectLine Implementation and Support
- Integration with the XONIC Shop System
- Process Consulting for Retail and Commerce

Austrian Business Practices
What sets e-commerce in Austria apart from its neighboring country.
Many things are simpler than when shipping to Switzerland—and a few things are unique to Austria.
No Customs in the Single Market
Shipments within the EU do not require a customs declaration or import clearance. This saves you the very steps that make shipping to third countries so time-consuming.
Value-Added Tax and OSS
The store calculates the appropriate rate for each destination country and provides the figures you need for reporting via the One-Stop-Shop procedure. The tax assessment remains the responsibility of your tax advisor—we provide the data.
eps Bank Transfer
The online bank transfer widely used in Austria is available through several connected payment service providers—along with Klarna, PayPal, credit card, and purchase on account.
Shipping via Austrian Post
Shipping labels and tracking information from Austrian Post are generated directly from the order. Additional service providers can be added.
B2B and B2C in the Same Store
Custom prices, discounts, and payment terms for each customer group—right down to customer-specific prices. Especially in the Austrian wholesale sector, this is the rule, not the exception.
Marketplaces included
Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, OTTO, and other marketplaces can be integrated as XONIC Premium modules—all drawing from the same product database, with no need for duplicate data maintenance.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Austrian operators ask us most often.
Do I need RIHNet if I’m not using SelectLine?
No. Without SelectLine, XONIC supports you directly—consulting, implementation, and support are then provided by the shop system’s manufacturer. RIHNet comes into play as soon as SelectLine is to be integrated or implemented.
Can my existing SelectLine installation be integrated?
Yes. The synchronization covers products, prices, inventory, and orders. The specifics of the integration depend on your SelectLine version and your processes—RIHNet will clarify this during an initial consultation.
Can I offer eps bank transfers?
Yes. eps is available through several of the connected payment service providers. Which provider is the most cost-effective for you depends on your sales volume and the other payment methods you wish to offer.
Do I need to handle customs if I’m receiving shipments from Germany?
No. Austria is part of the EU single market—there is no customs declaration and no import clearance. The relevant consideration is value-added tax (VAT), for which the shop provides the necessary figures.
Do I receive support in Austria or from Germany?
Depending on the plan you choose, your dedicated contact person is based in Vienna or Chemnitz—in both cases, they speak German, are in the same time zone, and there’s no call center involved. Email and ticket support are included in all packages; phone support is available starting with the Professional package.
How does the migration from my current store work?
Products, categories, customers, and order history will be transferred, and existing URLs will be preserved via redirects so that your Google rankings aren’t lost. We’ll review your data in advance to determine what can be transferred.
Tell us about your plans.
Briefly describe your current situation—we’ll let you know which of the two options is right for you and put you in touch with the appropriate contact person.
