A high-performance server infrastructure is the essential foundation for the smooth operation of an online store. The majority of users rely on the cloud hosting we provide, which takes care of all technical support and monitoring. This allows you to focus entirely on your core business—the store.
If you want to run the XONIC shop system on your own server or hosting service, there are a few requirements you should consider:
- PHP version 8.3 or higher (recommended: PHP 8.4): Essential for maximum performance, security, and compatibility with modern shop systems.
- MySQL version 8.0 or higher, or MariaDB version 10.6 or higher: Ensures a stable and efficient database foundation, which is fundamental for reliable online stores.
- HTTPS support: SSL/TLS certificates secure data transmission and build trust during the shopping process.
- Up-to-date operating system with security updates: Linux distributions such as Ubuntu or Debian, in particular, offer a high standard of protection through regular updates.
- Fast SSD drives: Essential for reducing load times and sustainably improving store performance.
- Common PHP modules installed: Modules such as cURL, GD, mbstring, intl, and zip are required for the full functionality of modern shop systems.
- Access control and firewalls: Effective protection mechanisms prevent unauthorized access and ensure stable operations.
Optimal technical requirements ensure the highest reliability, a first-class user experience, and maximum security for every online store.
