Google Authenticator Integration

·Last update: Sep 11, 2025

We are pleased to announce that, starting with the latest version 4.4.9, an additional security feature has been integrated into our system: Google Authenticator. This is another step in our efforts to provide you with the safest and most reliable shopping experience.

With Google Authenticator, we offer two-factor authentication (2FA), which is designed to protect your account even better against unauthorized access. Every time you log in, you’ll be asked not only for your password but also for a six-digit code generated by the Google Authenticator app. This code changes every 30 seconds, ensuring an additional layer of security.

We strongly recommend enabling this feature to provide optimal protection for your account. It’s easy to set up, and we’re happy to assist you if you have any questions or need help.

For our tech-savvy users who’d like to delve deeper into the mechanics:

Google Authenticator uses the TOTP (Time-Based One-Time Password) method. This method generates one-time passwords based on the current time and a secret key, making each password valid only for a short period (typically 30 seconds). TOTP is based on the HMAC-SHA1 algorithm, which uses the secret key and the current timestamp as input parameters to generate the one-time code. The combination of time-based generation and a secret key ensures that each generated one-time password is unique and difficult to predict, providing additional protection against phishing and other forms of online fraud.
