With version 4.7, XONIC is launching a comprehensive redesign of the frontend. What was already good is now becoming outstanding—with a high-quality, modern design for a premium shopping experience.
Completely New Shopping Cart & Off-Canvas
Developed from the ground up: Products can be removed directly without reloading the page; Express Checkout with Apple Pay and Google Pay updates automatically; new “You Save” display and real-time stock alerts. The shopping cart preview offers a quick overview without switching pages.
New Full-Screen Image Gallery
Product images in all their glory: full-screen view with natural touch gestures like swiping and zooming on mobile devices. The gallery supports all image sizes and makes your products look professional—on any device.
Redesigned product detail page
A clean layout with a clear structure, a redesigned rating display, easy-to-understand tiered pricing, and improved bundle presentation. Less visual clutter, more focus on your product—for a shopping experience that builds trust.
Mobile Navigation (Completely New)
The mobile navigation menu has been redesigned from the ground up. Categories open with a single click as an elegant accordion with smooth animation. Subcategories appear in a subtle, rounded box. Category images help with navigation, and up to three levels of nesting accommodate even complex product ranges.
The header navigation has also been expanded: Four different navigation templates are available—ranging from a simple list to image cards to a mega menu. The template can be set individually for each category.

GLS Ship IT Integration
Create shipping labels directly from the backend. Domestic and international packages, automatic tracking transmission, and real-time status updates.
Expanded Payment Methods
Google Pay and Apple Pay are now also available via PayPal Express Checkout. WERO has been integrated as a new European payment method via Stripe. In addition, security checks have been improved for all existing payment methods.
Expanded REST API
New interfaces for CMS content, contracts, FAQs, and SEO redirects. Expanded filtering options and improved error handling for more efficient integrations.
New in the March Update
Smart Navigation
The header navigation now automatically detects when a mega menu is appropriate—based on the depth and number of your categories. In addition, the off-canvas menu has been completely redesigned: a new, modern design and configurable settings in the backend.
New Mobile Header
The mobile header has been completely rebuilt—with a two-line layout, full-screen search, and its own globe icon for language and currency selection. Generous touch areas and a clean design ensure intuitive use on smartphones.
Checkout Security
Availability checks have been extended to all checkout steps. Your store now reliably prevents overselling—even if customers pause between steps.
Performance Optimization
The font system has been switched to WOFF2 compression, and automatic font preconnect has been added. This means faster load times for your customers—especially on mobile devices.
AI Integration with 4 Providers
You can now choose from four AI providers: Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI, xAI Grok, and Perplexity. Each provider can be configured individually—with its own API keys and models. All providers are available with a single click in the ticket system.
Syntax highlighting for code
Code blocks in CMS pages, guides, and emails are now automatically color-highlighted—for better readability of technical content.
