The cost depends on the scope and complexity: number of data records, data quality, required mappings, and special formats. After reviewing your xt:Commerce data, we’ll provide a binding, fixed-price quote—the starting price is €1,200 plus VAT.
Can xt:Commerce customer passwords be transferred?
For xt:Commerce 3 (osCommerce family), generally yes—the hashing methods are compatible, so login credentials remain valid. For later versions, we’ll check the hashing method during the initial assessment; where necessary, customers will automatically receive a link to reset their passwords.
How long does the migration from xt:Commerce to XONIC take?
Typically 1–2 weeks, including a test migration and correction runs. The final live migration itself takes anywhere from a few hours to a maximum of one day, depending on the amount of data—your existing store remains accessible until the switchover.
Will my Google rankings be preserved during the switch?
SEO URLs are imported from the source system, and duplicate SEO names are automatically deduplicated—active products retain their original URL slug. For changed URLs, we set up 301 redirects to ensure existing rankings are carried over.
Which xt:Commerce versions are supported?
xt:Commerce 3 is the classic osCommerce-based version and is directly supported. For later generations with their own data model (VEYTON, etc.), we’ll clarify the migration path in a free feasibility assessment.
