How much does data migration from another e-commerce platform cost?
The cost depends on the scope and complexity: number of data records, data quality, required mappings, and special formats. After reviewing your data from another e-commerce platform, we’ll provide a binding fixed-price quote—the starting price is €1,200 plus VAT.
Can customer passwords be transferred from my system?
That depends on your system’s encryption method and is part of the free feasibility assessment. We’ll import compatible methods directly; otherwise, your customers will automatically receive a link to reset their passwords.
How long does it take to migrate from another e-commerce platform to the XONIC Shop System?
Typically 1–2 weeks, including a test migration and correction runs. The final live migration itself takes anywhere from a few hours to a maximum of one day, depending on the amount of data—your existing store remains accessible until the switchover.
Will my Google rankings be preserved during the transition?
SEO URLs are imported from the source system, and duplicate SEO names are automatically deduplicated—active products retain their original URL slug. For changed URLs, we set up 301 redirects to ensure that existing rankings are carried over.
What data do you need from me for the review?
Ideally, a database export (dump) or a sample CSV file with a few records from each category (customers, products, orders). Temporary API or admin access is also sufficient. We’ll get back to you with an assessment and a fixed-price quote.
