How much does data migration from Magento cost?
The cost depends on the scope and complexity: number of records, data quality, required mappings, and special formats. After reviewing your Magento data, we’ll provide a binding, fixed-price quote—the starting price is €1,200 plus VAT.
Can Magento customer passwords be migrated?
That depends on the version and hashing method. We import compatible methods directly; where that’s not possible, your customers will automatically receive a link to reset their passwords.
How long does the migration from Magento to XONIC take?
Typically 1–2 weeks, including a test migration and correction runs. The final live migration itself takes anywhere from a few hours to a maximum of one day, depending on the amount of data—your existing store remains accessible until the switchover.
Will my Google rankings be preserved during the migration?
SEO URLs are imported from the source system, and duplicate SEO names are automatically deduplicated—active products retain their original URL slug. For changed URLs, we set up 301 redirects to ensure existing rankings are preserved.
Magento 1 is no longer supported—is migration still possible?
Yes. Magento 1 installations, in particular, are a routine matter: manufacturer support expired in 2020, but the database remains fully readable. We also address multistore setups during the initial assessment.
