The data migration from Shopware transfers customers, orders, products, and images in a structured manner to your new XONIC store. Shopware 5 and Shopware 6 have different data models—our migration scripts handle both versions with their own mappings.

Additional fields and properties are organized into XONIC additional fields and attributes.

URL slugs are carried over or preserved via 301 redirects.

How much does data migration from Shopware cost?
The cost depends on the scope and complexity: number of data records, data quality, required mappings, and special formats. After reviewing your Shopware data, we’ll provide a binding fixed-price quote—the starting price is €1,200 plus VAT.
Can Shopware customer passwords be migrated?
That depends on the version and encryption method. We import compatible methods directly; where that’s not possible, your customers will automatically receive a link to reset their passwords—without any manual effort on your part.
How long does the migration from Shopware to XONIC take?
Typically 1–2 weeks, including a test migration and correction runs. The final live migration itself takes anywhere from a few hours to a maximum of one day, depending on the amount of data—your existing store remains accessible until the switchover.
Will my Google rankings be preserved during the switch?
SEO URLs are imported from the source system, and duplicate SEO names are automatically deduplicated—active products retain their original URL slug. For changed URLs, we set up 301 redirects to ensure existing rankings are preserved.
Shopware 5 or Shopware 6—does it make a difference?
Not in terms of feasibility, but it does in terms of the process: Both versions use different data models, which is why there are separate migration scripts. Shopware 5 is no longer being developed by the manufacturer—this means the switch has become more predictable, especially for existing stores.
