XONIC Plus: Multishop – Statement of Work

§ 1 Subject Matter of the Contract

The XONIC Plus: Multishop Extension enables the operation of multiple online stores under different domains with centralized backend management. Annual license with automatic renewal (cancellation must be submitted via email 4 weeks prior to expiration).

§ 2 Scope of Features

• Central Backend: Unified administration for all shops (products, categories, orders, statistics with shop filters)
• Flexible Product Ranges: Products/categories can be assigned globally or on a shop-specific basis
• Customizable Configuration: Payment/shipping options, design, content, and SEO per store
• Multi-domain operation: Top-level domains, subdomains, country-code TLDs (any combination)
• Shop isolation: Separated at the domain, session, cookie, and database levels
• Centralized updates: One update for all shops, compatible with all XONIC Plus modules

§ 3 Technical Requirements

• XONIC Shop System V4+, PHP 8.3+, MySQL
• Own domain(s)/subdomain(s) per store + DNS configuration
• SSL certificates for all domains
• Level 2 (Professional) Support & Update License or higher required (due to increased system complexity)

§ 4 What the module CANNOT do

• Store-specific prices/discounts (prices apply globally)
• Store-specific customer management (customers are visible across all stores)
• Cross-store shopping carts (no shared checkout across multiple stores)
• Automatic translations or content duplication between stores
• Automatic domain registration or SSL certificate management

§ 5 Support & Licensing

• Licensing model: Annual license (automatic renewal; cancellation must be submitted via email 4 weeks prior to expiration). Includes 2 online stores; +€300 net/year for each additional store.
• Activation: Via the XONIC admin interface; local license validation without call-home.
• Support: As per the purchased Support & Update License (Level 2 Professional+ required).
• Updates: Centralized deployment for all stores, compatible with all XONIC Plus modules.
• Customizations: Upon request (separate quote).

§ 6 Disclaimer & Customer Obligations

The software is provided “as is” without warranty. XONIC Solutions is not liable for:

• Data loss due to missing or faulty backups (customer’s responsibility: regular backups)
• Outages due to incorrect domain, DNS, or SSL configuration (customer’s responsibility)
• Performance issues caused by insufficient server resources (customer responsibility: hardware sizing)
• Legal violations due to missing or incorrect legal notices or privacy policies per store (customer’s responsibility)
• Misconfigurations in product assignments, prices, or third-party integrations (payment, shipping)
• SEO rankings or duplicate content issues in multi-domain operations (customer responsibility: canonical tags, robots.txt)
• Incorrect Geo-IP redirects (based on third-party data)

Customer responsibility prior to going live: Conduct thorough testing in the staging environment!

§ 7 Data Protection

• Customer data is stored across all stores. Customers can log in to all stores using the same login credentials.
• Customer Requirement: A GDPR-compliant privacy policy must account for cross-store data storage (Art. 13 GDPR).
• XONIC does not process customer data from the module (except for explicitly requested support services).
• License validation occurs locally without transferring data to external servers (offline check).

§ 8 Legal Information

• German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
• Place of jurisdiction: Chemnitz (for merchants and legal entities under public law).
• Severability clause: The invalidity of individual provisions shall not affect the validity of the contract as a whole.
• Any amendments or additions must be made in writing.
